As you may have noticed, there is a new category, “LizzieLongLegs,” on my blog and on the header menu. My plan with this category is to share a little bit of what I wear. I am by NO means the most fashionable person I know, but I also do spend some time thinking about my wardrobe. Being tall, it does take me a little more work and looking to find clothing that fits and looks good. Therefore, I want to share with you what I have found works for me and my body–not necessarily your’s! I also hope that you would share some ideas with me =)
That being said, here is what I wore one day this week!
I ordered this pleated midi skirt from The Limited about a month or two ago and I LOVE it! I wanted a full length pleated skirt, but each one that I tried wasn’t long enough. Midi length works very well on me because although it may be meant to be longer on most people, it still hits at a great length on tall people. It looks best with heels, but I did not feel like wearing them the other day! Unfortunately, the midi length is harder to fit on those who are shorter than average height– it ends up being a bit like a flood length.
Due to the fact that the skirt is so busy with pleats, I like to keep the top simple and neutral, even though the skirt is neutral in color, as well. I paired it with a J. Crew cardigan to keep the top slim and not bulky. I also love this skirt with a simple style but bright colored top!
Well, there you have it, my first LizzieLongLegs wardrobe post! As I said, my fashion is not the best in the world, but I do enjoy clothing!

You look FAB!
