Day Three: Eggs!

Today’s giveaway is one of my favorite foods in the whole world – EGGS!  I generally try to buy local eggs, but when I don’t have that opportunity, I definitely make sure to go the cage free way. One of the brands I will buy is Eggland’s Best, and they even come in a cool package with individual casing for each egg. Yes, I get excited about things like that.

Another cool thing that Eggland’s Best has is packages of cooked, peeled, hard-boiled eggs.  I haven’t tried them, but they look awesome to add into salads or for a quick snack on the go.  I love hard-boiled eggs, but it seems like so much work to cook them properly and then peel them.  Funny story about peeling hard-boiled eggs – my mom only eats the whites of hard-boiled eggs, so our dog Lotus knows every time she hears an egg being cracked that she will get the yolk and she comes running.  It is so funny! I will have to take a video of it sometime.
