My Heart Hurts.

My hearts hurts so much after what happened in Boston today. I am so sad.

I wanted to do something to honor the victims and runners. The only thing I could think of was to RUN.

So I did. I ran 2.62 miles, silently, in honor of everyone who was there, who knows someone who was there, who doesn’t know anyone but still feels the pain, and also for everyone else. And then I created a facebook event so you can run 2.62 miles for Boston, too.

2.62 for Boston

My heart hurts, and I don’t know what to do, but we can always keep running. To show them that they can never stop us from running.

  1. Our hearts ache, too.

  2. I am slowly beginning to become a runner – still at a slow jog right now.

But my goal tonight is to not get off that treadmill until I have reached 2.62.

Thank you for thinking of this way to help.

    Sincerely,
    Cassie

  3. Love this! I’ll be running with you every day :-)
