When you read the title of this post, you’re probably thinking I’m going to talk about this:
But really, what I mean, is this:
How’s your 4th of July? Mine is pretty awesome so far. We had a few people over last night, ate some delicious things and played some fun games.
Those are my roommates. They’re awesome. That’s me, second from the right, before I got stung by a bee on my face. Yup, you read that right, it happened. It stung me right on my nose/eye area. Weird moment for sure.
People brought tons of delicious food, and my roommate made a super cute American flag cake:
Tonight, I’m heading to Montalto, an estate on a mountain right outside Cville, to picnic and watch fireworks. They don’t set off fireworks at Montalto, but you can see a bunch of different fireworks around town from up there. I’m pretty pumped!
Other updates! This year has definitely been the year of weddings for me – one a month from May to October! I love weddings, so it has been pretty awesome! And it involves a lot of traveling, which I also love!
How pretty is this venue? What a fun wedding!
In June, THESE KIDS GOT MARRIED:
(The two in the middle, not the actual children…but those are my cute cousins who were flower girl and ring bearer!)
My brother and his fiancee (now wife!) got married!!! It was SO. MUCH. FUN. Seriously, the whole weekend was amazing. It was in Charlottesville, which was nice that I didn’t have to travel for one weekend!
My parents hosted an AMAZING rehearsal dinner on Friday, and then the wedding itself on Saturday was so perfect! I can’t stop gushing about that weekend. I loved it. Oh, also, I was in the wedding! So I don’t have any pictures of the actual wedding itself, but here are some from the rehearsal dinner:
It was so epic. I want them to do it all over again! (Except stay married… just have another wedding, again and again. SO FUN!)
